Rauncie Murdoch owns Lake Life Properties. Rauncie grew up on Lake Diefenbaker. She says "My hope is that families will develop the same love of this beautiful area that I feel. Lake Life Properties’ motto is “Make Memories”. There is no better place to make great family memories than Lake Diefenbaker, Saskatchewan."
If you call or email Sandy Shores Resort, you will probably speak to our office gal, Chantale King. Chantale had spent many summers at Lake Diefenbaker over the years before permanantly moving to the area in 2010. She takes care of bookings, bookeeping, sends out the newsletter, and handles general emails. In her free time you will find her working on the farm and hanging out with her many wonderful animals.
Neil McIntosh operates the Water Treatment Plant at Sandy Shores Resort. He is a Class 2 Operator. We are very lucky to have Neil looking after the water plant.
Brad Ashdown is the site manager at Sandy Shores Resort. Brad oversees the maintenance on site, as well as assists with the water treatment plant. Brad's hard work and previous experience with Saskatoon Wildlife Federation, Saskatchewan Watershed Authority, and Saskatchewan Environment make him a valuable addition to the Sandy Shores team.
Kylee Green is our 2022 Summer Student. She will be helping out with the Water Treatment Plant and site maintenance and social media! Kylee is lucky enough to have both her parents and grandparents as property owners here at Sandy Shores. We are so excited to have her join us this summer!
Lachlan Kinnaird works at Sandy Shores when he is not in school. He has worked at Sandy Shores since 2016. He now has a drone license and residential spraying license. Lachlan graduated from grade 12 in 2022 and plans to enter mechanics program in the fall. He loves fishing and living at Sandy Shores. His personal best perch is 14" in the photo.
Kyla Yungman is the 2022 Trans Canada Trail Summer Student! She is in charge of cleaning the trails, running a few events, kids programs, and more. Her parents have a cabin at Sandy Shores Resort.
Nolan was hired by the community Association to do the mowing! He grew up on a mixed farm at pike lake. He went on to take an ag course at the U of S. He then did an ag mech course at Kelsey (aka SIAST) and worked construction as a welder. For several years he has done maitenance at a golf course. Nolan enjoys the outdoors including fishing/golf/hunting/snowmobiling!
