Water Treatment Plant Update

Engineering for potable water and a water treatment plant is underway, expected to be complete in 2018. WSA has approved the distribution system.  Acadia Construction finished installing water lines in the spring of 2017. Operation of the water treatment plant is based on a minimum number of lots, WSA approvals and other agreements which are underway. A water treatment plant is a huge construction project, please drive safely and give crews work space.  It is an exciting project for Sandy Shores Resort and will bring conclusion to major site construction allowing focus on tree planting, parks, trails and beaches.  A water treatment plant offers quality drinking water, fire protection and a source of water for trees and parks!
