More Sandy Shores Resort Spring Updates
1) SaskPower subcontactor has completed installation of the underground power lines. Two street lights at the entrance to the development and moving the powerline off the access road are now complete.
2) Water Update. Connections will be to front of lots. Plans are underway for a Water Treatment Plan. Several conditions are needed in order to proceed:
- Agreements and Permits: RM of Coteau, Ministry of Ag, Macrorie Irrigation District, WSA and more. These are in progress.
- 40 Lot Owners. In order to share the operational costs, this target was established
- A contract was signed with Acadia Construction to install the pipe to each lot. This work will begin in May 2017 and is expected to conclude in July 2017
- The engineering work by KGS is ongoing. A plan for location of the water lines is not finalized. It will be emailed to the lot owners when it is complete.
3) Marina, Environmental Reserves, Beaches. WSA has verbally stated that approvals are in progress and no concerns with proceeding have been noted. However, written permits have not yet been issued. I am working on it!
