Located on beautiful Lake Diefenbaker, Sandy Shores Marina is a 200-slip public marina designed to provide convenient, reliable lake access — even during lower water levels.
Our sheltered inland location offers annual and short-term slip rentals, premium fuel, power, potable water, septic pump-out service and more.

Multi-Year Rental Terms
Multi-year special pricing requires full payment upfront at the time of rental. Multi-year rates cannot be paid annually or in installments.
For example, a 5-year rental of a 20' slip is $7,475 + GST, paid in full at the beginning of the 5-year term.
All multi-year rentals are subject to availability, require a signed rental agreement, and are non-refundable.

Most powered slips have standard 15-amp service. Select slips offer 30-amp service:
Dock A: 11–15, 18–20, 22 & 50
Dock B: 11–20, 22 & 50
Dock C: 50
Dock D: 50
There is no power on Dock F.
Additional Services
Septic Pump-Out: $50 per pump-out for non-current marina users.
Filleting Shack & Washrooms: Included with marina slip rentals. A $50 annual access fee applies for users without a marina slip rental.
Fuel: Premium fuel is available 24/7 from both land and water.
Marina Parking
North Parking Lot:
$99/month
$250/Season
Parking is available in the North Parking Lot for marina customers requiring additional vehicle, boat trailer, or equipment parking. Spaces are subject to availability.
Non-secure free parking is also available in designated areas.
Boat Lifts
Boat lifts are permitted with prior approval and must fit entirely within the renter's allotted space without damaging the docks or interfering with neighbouring slips.
Lifts must be new, CSA-approved and manufactured by a reputable manufacturer. Please contact us before purchasing or installing a lift.
Public Marina Access
Sandy Shores Marina is open to the public. Marina slip rentals, fuel, the filleting shack and applicable marina services are available for public use.
Individual rented slips and designated rental spaces are for the private use of the renter and are not open for public access.
Boat Launch Access
Boat launch access at Sandy Shores Marina is currently under development and is not authorized for public use.
Access may be restricted due to water levels, shoreline conditions, weather or other environmental and safety considerations.
A public double boat launch is located nearby at Danielson Provincial Park.
Marina Season
Guaranteed Season: May Long Weekend to September Long Weekend
We make every effort to open earlier and remain open into the fall when weather and lake conditions allow.
The marina's sheltered inland design provides reliable operating depths and has continued to provide adequate water depth during periods of low lake levels.
Rental Agreement
All marina renters must complete and sign the Marina Rental Terms Agreement before receiving marina access.
Security Cameras monitor the marina. Contact Rauncie @ 306-717-3400 for details. By entering the marina you are agreeing that images may be released to investigate vandalism, safety, or other incidents determined by management. Release of images can be released to the public and / or police.
